Water jetting flushes out food debris and bacteria responsible for plaque held in between the teeth and below the gumline. It penetrates deeper than can be achieved by either brushing or flossing. Regular use helps to prevent gum disease, improves oral hygiene and provides a stimulating massage to the gums.

How to Use:

Step 1: Align the key on the jet attachment and push firmly into the notch in the wand. Rotate clockwise to fix in place.The jet attachment will appear side-on in relation to the wand.

Step 2: With the wand in its base, plug the power adapter lead into the underside of the unit and a shaver socket. Power level 4 will illuminate (see changing power levelssection).

Step 3: Lift the lid on the unit and remove the water chamber. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Fill the water chamber with water from the cold tap. Note: 500ml of water will give at least 2 minutes cleaning. 50ml of water is the minimum level required for the unit to operate.

Step 4: Replace the chamber carefully into the unit and close the lid.

Step 5: Ensure the ON/OFF switch on the wand is in the OFF position. Press the motor activation button to turn the unit on. You will hear the motor start up.

Step 6: Note: Before using for the first time, jet through a full chamber of water into a sink. Remove the wand from its base. Place the jet attachment in your mouth and lean over the sink.

Step 7: Push the switch on the wand to the ON position to initiate oral irrigation.

Step 8: Keep your mouth slightly open and hold your elbow at mouth level so that the water can run back into the sink. Hold the jet attachment a few millimetres off the teeth. Move it slowly around the mouth, directing the jet of water around the gum line and between the teeth. Ensure all areas are irrigated.

Step 9: After use, turn the switch on the wand to the OFF position and return to its base. Press the motor activation button on the unit to turn the unit off. Empty any excess water from the water chamber.

Step 10: Remove the jet attachment by rotating anticlockwise and pull out. Place it in the jet attachment storage area. Tip away any excess water in the top of the wand.
